Zhengzhou Modoki Superland is located in Zhengzhou Yongwei Wooden Color Shopping Park. Yongwei Wooden Color Shopping Park is the first park-type shopping center in Zhengzhou, officially opened on May 26, 2019, located in the CBD core business circle of Zhengdong New District, with a building area of 50,000 square meters and 4 floors of planned commercial.

Abandoning the traditional commercial design ideas, it takes the original wood color as the main tone, incorporates natural elements such as waterfalls, caves and vegetation, and combines them with modern technology. A natural new place for socializing and shopping is created in the exquisite space, where customers' sense of comfort, experience and space are fully realized.

Adhering to the design concept of “Imagination is far more important than knowledge, because knowledge is limited, while imagination summarizes everything in the world and drives progress”, the slogan of “Imagination is superpower” will continue to run through the whole design of MOROM MORODOCHI SUPER AMUSEMENT PARK. The slogan “Imagination is Superpower” will continue to be used throughout the overall design of MOROM Superland.

The MOROM Super Amusement Park will be designed and constructed to take full advantage of the height and span of the floors. The Interactive play zone of project spans three floors of the mall and features a 9-meter high ceiling centered on the stage, making the park visually more expansive and creating a comfortable atmosphere.

Not only that, in sufficient height conditions for creative theme decoration, such as placing huge cartoon dolls, etc., ESAC can create an immersive theme scene, so that children as if they were in the fairy tale world.

Combined with large-scale amusement equipment, ESAC design creates a multi-storey structure of play space, so that children can shuttle between floors of different heights, experience the air corridor, spiral slide and other projects, thus greatly increasing the fun and sense of adventure in indoor playground.

In addition, the entertainment park project skillfully integrates modeling with interactive devices. For example, the Polaroid modeling device on the front stage combines the appearance of a Polaroid with an AI face-changing interactive device. This fusion greatly enhances the fun and attraction, allowing children to actively participate in it.

Construction Site Direct

“MOROM Super  Amusement Park” is designed and constructed by Elephant Sculpture Art Company. The planning and design phase of the entertainment park project has been completed, and the construction was officially started on September 25th, with an estimated construction period of 110 days, and is scheduled to be completed on January 10th, 2025.

 # Heavy demolition tasks

On the amusement park project site, this used to be a movie theater. The first step in the construction process is this extensive demolition work.

The demolition project of indoor playground was a daunting task that required the dismantling of the original structure of the movie theater one by one. From the solid walls of the projection hall, to the staggered audience seating structure, to the complex interior decoration facilities, each part was dismantled in an orderly manner under the operation of a professional demolition team.

The construction crews strictly followed safety and environmental norms to ensure that the dismantling process was safe and secure, while minimizing the impact on the surrounding environment and creating a good start for the subsequent construction of the park.

 # Increased manpower to ensure quality and quantity under pressure of time schedule

In the pre-demolition section, the construction work could not be fully carried out due to the cross-construction of air-conditioning and fire-fighting works, resulting in a certain degree of delay in the overall progress compared with the previous plan.

In order to ensure that the schedule was not jeopardized, the teams of ESAC in charge adopted a strategy of regionalization and zoning. The number of construction personnel was increased 20 days after the start of construction, bringing the total number of construction personnel to 80. At the same time, the construction personnel were rationally arranged, the coordination and cooperation among various work types were strengthened, and all resources were fully invested to accelerate the progress of the project.

 # Transportation of materials at high altitude, difficult to operate 

Given that most of the multi-storey structures are built with steel structures, there are difficulties in transporting materials to higher places, and large-scale installations for decoration also face many difficulties in carrying out precise installation operations at higher places.

In response to these problems, the team of ESAC developed appropriate solutions. The whole construction site is equipped with cranes, lifting platforms and other equipment to assist in the transportation of materials, to ensure that the materials can be successfully delivered to the required location. For the installation work at high places, the construction process is carefully planned in advance, and the construction personnel are arranged to complete part of the pre-assembly work on the ground, which effectively reduces the complex operation at high places and improves the construction efficiency and safety.

 # Focus on ventilation effects

Construction is not only just a visual experience, but also focuses on the experience of all senses. Due to the complexity and diversity of the space structure, different areas have different needs for air circulation, which makes the park design and layout of the ventilation system face many difficulties.

In order to create a good ventilation effect for amusement park, the installation of efficient ventilation equipment is the key, such as large exhaust fans and perfect ventilation duct system, while rationally planning the location and number of vents, according to the principle of aerodynamics and spatial characteristics, so that the air can form a good circulation in the entire space, to ensure that all areas can have a circulation of fresh air.

 # Pay close attention to the details of lighting 

In terms of the indoor playground lighting, it was also a challenge to distribute the light evenly to avoid creating light shadow areas. To minimize shadow areas, a multi-layered lighting design was used by ESAC.

Including the whole field of flat ceiling downlights at the top, unique customized wall lamps and local lighting fixtures around the rides, good lighting effects are achieved through reasonable lighting layout and brightness adjustment.

 # Customized IP devices

The project's IP installation was customized by Elephant Sculpture Art Company, and the installation was created using 3D polymer resin printing, which is able to better render complex geometries and fine structures during the printing process.

The resin material has good fluidity and filling properties in liquid state, which allows it to precisely fill the fine parts of the model, resulting in a very high level of precision and detail representation of the printed object. These IP units will be subsequently transported to the site for installation.

 # Guardian of children's play safety 

In the floor decoration, for visual aesthetics and children's play safety considerations, the floor pavement will use 10 centimeter straight yarn custom patterned carpet, which has good cushioning properties and can effectively reduce the degree of injury when children play accidentally fall in playground. Moreover, the carpets come in a wide variety of colors and patterns, all customized according to the theme and style of the design.

 # Close communication, quality and quantity

In the construction journey of “MOROM SUPER AMUSEMENT PARK”, guaranteeing the quality of the project is the most important thing. For this reason, Elephant Sculpture Art Company designers, project managers and the construction team have established an extremely close communication mechanism.

At present, the frame structure of the super entertainment park has been largely completed, and its solid architecture, like the skeleton of the super park, has laid a stable foundation for the whole project. Some areas have entered the stage of painting works, and the whole has begun to take shape.
