How Did ESAC Transform the Space?
Let’s explore how the team leveraged the original cinema structure to create a commercial entertainment space designed for children’s joy and adventure!
Modoki Superland
Grand Opening on January 18, 2025
Modoki Super Park, located in Zhengzhou Yongwei Muse Shopping Mall, spans 6,000+ square meters across three floors. This innovative children’s playground replaces a former cinema and features 30+ themed zones, including indoor climbing walls, trampolines, caves, sandpits, AR experiences, ice worlds, bowling alleys, princess rooms, and dining areas...
ESAC, a leader in commercial space design and integrated construction solutions for the entertainment industry, handled the project from concept to completion. The team began construction on September 25, 2024, and delivered the project on January 10, 2025—overcoming challenges to create a family-friendly entertainment hub in just 3 months.

Demolition Challenges
The original cinema’s sturdy walls, tiered seating, and complex infrastructure posed significant challenges. ESAC's construction team adhered to strict safety and environmental protocols while dismantling the space, ensuring minimal disruption to the mall.

Building the Framework
Post-demolition, the team focused on structural development. A standout feature is the three-floor interconnected play ramp, replacing traditional stairs. This design enhances accessibility and fun, allowing kids to explore freely.
High-Altitude Construction Solutions
To tackle multi-level steel framework installation, ESAC deployed cranes and lifts for vertical material transport. Pre-assembling large decorations on the ground reduced risks and boosted efficiency.
With professional experience, The ESAC team quickly developed a set of solutions: in terms of material transportation, the team reasonably laid out cranes and lifting platforms and other equipment at the construction site. Cranes, with their powerful lifting capacity, lifted all kinds of steel structure materials and large decorative parts vertically to the corresponding heights; while the lifting platforms traveled flexibly to provide construction workers with a convenient material transfer platform, ensuring that the materials were delivered to the designated locations in a timely and accurate manner.
For the installation work at high places, the team planned the construction process carefully in advance. Arranging the construction personnel to carry out part of the pre-assembly work on the ground, like splicing the complex parts of large decorative devices into relatively complete modules in advance, greatly simplifying the process of high altitude operations. In this way, not only effectively reduce the complex operation at height, reduce the construction risk, but also significantly improve the construction efficiency, to ensure that the project is efficient and safe to promote.
Customized 3D-Printed Sculptures
Using 3D high-polymer resin printing, the team produced intricate IP-themed installations off-site, ensuring precision and timely delivery.

Decorative Transportation and Installation
Mechanical 6-meter Momo bear arrives on scene
After the production of the giant sculpture was completed, in order to realize efficient transportation, based on its structural characteristics and transportation requirements, it was precisely cut into three parts during shipment and then sent to the project site.
Upon arrival at the site, due to the huge size of the sculpture, the normal elevator and entrance size was far from being able to meet the access requirements. After careful evaluation, the construction team removed part of the windows and walls on the premise of ensuring the safety of the building structure to open up a channel for transportation. The construction team also called for large cranes, and with professional lifting technology and precise operation procedures, lifted all parts of the sculpture to the designated site in turn.
Entering the installation stage, given that the weight of the sculpture exceeds the carrying limit of ordinary installation equipment, the team innovated the use of lifts and manual lifting synergistic operation. With rich experience and tacit cooperation, the construction staff utilized the lift to provide the main lifting force, and manually assisted in fine-tuning and positioning. After 2 consecutive days of hard work, the installation of the giant sculpture was successfully completed and presented perfectly on the project site.
And the rest of the sculptural decorations arrived at the project site to complete all the installations.
The scene is getting “jolly”
With the completion of each shape, decorative accessories in place one by one, and the colorful painting, the entire venue presents the unique colorful atmosphere of “Paradise”. Different hues intertwine with each other, and the decorative elements echo each other, creating a space full of fun and a sense of fantasy, which fits the joyful and colorful positioning of the park.

Closing and delivery
Verification of details, closing and delivery
In January, the construction of the whole site was basically completed, and the overall project entered the final stage. The construction workers, with an attitude of striving for excellence, meticulously reviewed each detail and carefully removed the protective film of the equipment to ensure that they were in the most perfect condition to meet the delivery moment.
