As northern regions enter a five-month period of severe cold, restricted outdoor activities have fueled robust indoor consumption demand. Warm indoor spaces liberate commercial vitality from climatic constraints, enabling the food and beverage sector to break through the “winter slump” and operate year-round. Leisure and entertainment venues have become key gathering spots for family and youth-oriented consumer groups.
This trend of “winter indoor consumption upgrade” is driving northern commercial complexes to evolve toward becoming “all-age, experiential, and high-profit” destinations.
▷ Tieling Shuangyan Tianhe City Sets a New Standard for Northern Indoor Commercial Spaces
December 29, 2025, marked the grand opening of Tieling Shuangyan Tianhe City. This landmark development not only fills the gap for high-end commercial complexes in Tieling but also establishes itself as a community hub revitalizing winter consumption in the region through two core entertainment offerings: KOMO CoolMei Super Kids' Paradise and Xuanwu Xinghe Arcade World. It further pioneers a new paradigm for indoor entertainment in Northern China.
Breaking free from the traditional “shopping + basic entertainment” framework, Tieling Shuangyan Tianhe City redefines indoor commercial value through a “strong theme, high interaction, full-scenario” innovation logic: KOMO Super Kids' Paradise creates an immersive growth space catering to the entire developmental journey of children aged 0-12, transforming family customers from “one-time shoppers” into “high-frequency repeat buyers”;
Xuanwu Star Galaxy Arcade World focuses on the social needs of young people and families. By introducing cutting-edge gaming equipment and themed decor, it elevates entertainment experiences into shareable, viral social currency. This approach achieves dual empowerment: enabling young patrons to “gather energy through trendy play” while fostering “parent-child bonding” for family visitors.
KOMO Cool Kids Super Playground
Precisely Targets Core Indoor Entertainment Needs
During the five-month harsh winter season in northern regions, the consumer pain points of “children's limited outdoor play + parents' difficulty in finding high-quality outdoor activities” have fueled strong demand for the indoor children's entertainment market.
The market's expectations for play spaces have long surpassed the basic requirement of “being playable,” evolving into a triple pursuit of openness, immersive experience, and practicality. With precise design insights, Elephant Art has created KOMO CoolMei Super Kids' Paradise, delivering a professional, implementable, and profitable solution for indoor children's entertainment spaces in northern winters.

Spacious Design Solves the Problem of Closed and Oppressive Spaces
Addressing the industry-wide challenges of cramped spaces and stifling experiences in northern winter indoor entertainment, we employ a core design strategy of double-height structures and seamless circulation to redefine indoor play:
Soaring ceilings maximize spatial openness, eliminating the stuffiness of traditional indoor playgrounds and granting children the freedom to run, jump, and climb with outdoor-like expansiveness;
Seamless scene transitions break physical barriers of fixed zones, enabling natural flow between ball pits, climbing areas, and themed exploration corners. This fully unleashes children's innate curiosity, perfectly compensating for the lack of outdoor exploration during winter.

Play-Learning Integration Design Targets Parents' Core Needs
Guided by the foundational principle of “children's developmental needs,” we've built a multi-dimensional, scenario-based play-learning system within KOMO CoolMei, deeply integrating ‘play’ with “growth”:
Social Skills Development Zone: Featuring dress-up play + immersive role-playing scenarios (Auto Repair Shop / Farm Ranch / Barn / Kitchen / Supermarket / Pet Hospital). By simulating real-world social settings, children naturally develop communication, collaboration, and social cognition skills.
Physical Fitness Development Zone: Centered around simulated wilderness challenges (rock climbing / cave exploration / rope net adventures), this area recreates the thrill of outdoor expeditions within a safe, controlled indoor environment, empowering children to push their limits and build courage.
Physical Energy Release Zone: Featuring play structures, trampolines, fun bowling, and basketball shooting, this area addresses the essential need for indoor activity during northern winters, allowing children to release their energy in a healthy way.
Creative Thinking Zone: Featuring interactive projection balls and a dreamy fluorescent space, this area sparks children's imagination and creativity through engaging light-and-shadow interactions and color perception activities.
This “scenario-based growth-focused” design not only aligns with children's innate “learning through play” nature but also precisely addresses parents' core demand for “uninterrupted winter development.” It elevates KOMO CoolMei Super Kids' Paradise from a “simple play space” to a “family growth-oriented consumption hub.”

Flexible space design ensures sustainable operational profitability.
Great design must not only stand out visually but also drive commercial profitability. In the design of KOMO Super Kids' Paradise, a modular planning approach featuring functional flexibility and adaptable configurations empowers operators to build a cost-efficient, high-yield profit model:
Core Functional Zone (Stage Area): Sufficient space is reserved to accommodate children's talent shows and holiday-themed events, while also enabling rapid conversion into dedicated brand collaboration venues or main venues for family markets, achieving efficient “multi-purpose utilization” of a single area.
Detail-Driven Design: Multi-family rest areas and modular storage solutions ensure organized storage for props, course materials, and activity equipment. Floors and walls feature durable, easy-to-clean professional-grade materials, accommodating frequent scene changes while significantly reducing long-term maintenance costs.
Dazzling Dance Galaxy Arcade World
A Scenario-Based Profit Model
We employ a core strategy of “scenario-based design + all-age compatibility” to create the Star Galaxy Dance Arcade World. This approach not only meets the essential winter leisure needs of diverse demographics—including families, youth, and parent-child groups—but also empowers sustainable commercial profitability through spatial design.

Breaking Through All-Age Leisure Pain Points
Through a “futuristic machinery + cybernetic galaxy” themed environment, we construct an entertainment space compatible with all age groups:
Curved light strips, mechanical gear elements, and high-reflectivity flooring materials create an immersive cyberpunk atmosphere. This design caters to young adults' preference for “trendy settings” while using bright colors and playful installations to reduce unfamiliarity for younger children.
The thematic concept runs throughout the entire space (e.g., consistent styling from the entrance archway → gift redemption area → arcade machine zone), replacing the “cluttered layout” typical of traditional arcades. This provides both family groups and young adults with a cohesive leisure experience, meeting the essential demand for indoor winter recreation across all age groups.

Precision Targeting of Diverse Entertainment Demands
Guided by the principle that “all-age entertainment spaces must balance ‘differentiated experiences’ with ‘scenario compatibility,’” we've crafted tiered experiential zones within the dazzling dance galaxy.
Youth Energy Zone: Features high-interaction machines like racing simulators and shooting games, paired with dark-toned ambiance and dynamic lighting to satisfy young adults' “competition + socializing” needs;
Family & Kids Zone: Features claw machines and light-interactive amusement equipment. Soft lighting and low-height machines create a relaxed environment for parents accompanying children.
All-Age Shared Zone: The prize redemption area employs transparent displays and playful arrangements (e.g., themed plush displays). This serves as a visual focal point while attracting visitors of all ages to linger and spend.
This “scenario-layered yet stylistically unified” design allows different customer segments to find their place within the same space, significantly enhancing the venue's customer coverage efficiency.
Guided by a holistic design philosophy that anchors in customer needs while aiming for commercial profitability,
these two indoor entertainment projects
have not only become new winter destinations for Tieling residents
but also established themselves as replicable, actionable benchmarks
in northern China's indoor commercial landscape,
offering fresh perspectives for commercial upgrades in cold regions.
